Radical Dreamers Chapter 2: Showdown at the reactor

2 teams were set up to attack: Lynx led the stealth team, whose mission was to sneak in and disable the power. Then, there would be a ten minute period before backup power went online. During that time, Jake's team is going to charge in and take out as many of the SOLDIERS as they can. when power goes back up, Lynx's team would search for the Mako output and shut it down, While Lynx himself would rendezvous with Jake to take out every soldier remaining. once the output was disabled, Lynx would set explosives at set points around the reactor. The Teams would then escape, and meet up at the ware house at exactly 11:30 p.m.

jakes team ran in killing any Solder he saw

(You skipped ahead a little, but okay.)

Lynx made his way towards Jake's team. two soldiers appeared in his way."YOU ARE SURROUNDED. SURRENDER IMMEDIATLY!" one of them shouted. but Lynx would not be stopped. but it raised a question: how can they see me? he thought. at any rate, he drew his dark blade and vanished into the darkness. shortly later, one of the soldiers felt a tap onn his soldier. when he turned around to see what tapped him, the other soldier fell to the ground, a stabbing wound in his chest. the remaining soldier turned just in time to be decapitated. Lynx reappeared and put his blade away. afterwards, he kept running before time ran out. he had to tell jake what he saw. they had to escape as quickly as possible...

jake saw lynx running twords him "wonder what he wants..."

"We gotta go. now. my team is dead and theres something running amok in the reactor!" Lynx said when he caught up to Jake.

"what kind of "THING"" asked jake

"Some kind of machine. I didn't stay long enough to get a good look but it killed my entire team in one blast!" Lynx replied.

"what the f**k did you just say"???!!!

"I said we gotta leave before it blows everything away!" Lynx shouted. "Get the team together and let's... uh oh." The machine appeared behind him. it resembled a wolf, but it had two laser cannons on it's shoulders, and was as tall as 4 football players standing on each others shoulders.
It howled and the enemy soldiers retreated. the choice was obvious. try to fight, or run like hell.

jake stared at it and said "RETREAT!!!!" then turned to lynx "if we dont out run it, nice knowing you"

"...Wait." Lynx said. "Change of plans. get your team out of here, You and I take it down. If we escape, then shinra would know we hole up in the city. they cold send a hole bunch of these things out on the streets to find us. I don't think i need to to tell you what would happen to the townsfolk if it did."

"right lets GO!!!!"

Lynx turned and drew both his blades, ready to fight. "I'll hold him off while your team escapes. don't forget to come back!" He shouted. his dark blade began to show an ominous light. he jumped toward to wolf and made a stab at it's throat with his normal sword, which the wolf responded to by shooting at Lynx. blade and laser connected as Lynx landed on the ground.

In the midst of all the chaos Kurotsuchi calmly waltzed in to the base, some of the rebels were off trying to break a new government toy and bodies lay everywhere, such a waste. He held a red rose to his face as he entered the main room, the robotic wolf was in his way, with two fingers he disrupted the main power supply with air currents causing it to power down. The rebels and soldiers looked over at the mysterious newcomer in white, unsure which side he was on.

Lynx looked around to see what had silenced the mech. he the mysterious new person and kept his blades in hand, in case this was a threat.

"I had figured that there was fighting here" he said sniffing the flower "my sense of smell must be as keen as a dog's" this all seemed sort of irrelevant given the situation "excuse me, but might I inquire whom here belongs to which side of your little conflict?" he asked no one in particular

Slowly, Lynx lowered his guard, but did not put away his blades in case he was still threatened. "I am Lynx and (motions towards jake.) this is Jake we are part of the Radical Dreamers."

Kurotsuchi looked around "and the rest of these people are soldgers?" he said blankly

"ex-soldiers actually. all of us are. Shinra turned it's back on us after the war, so we decided to take revenge by destroying Shinra. If we don't, we'll never be able to lead normal lives." Lynx replied. "but... who are you?" He asked.

He smiled slightly "my name" he shifted his hand inside his robes "is Kurostuchi Mogambi... tell me, do you ever picture yourself being slashed?" he made a cutting motion across his neck with the stem of his rose then pretended to be cut there briefly "you see the blood spilling out, you want to die quickly but you completely... powerless" he produced his sword holding it in the center of the sheath "do you want to know why this sword has no guard? Its because I never have to defend, some where along the line your... counter productive activities made things difficult for someone they shouldn't have and they hired me, told me all about how you were destroying the peace you helped create or some dribble and payed me to come here and fix their problem" a malevolent aura was summoned from deep within him that everyone in the room felt, it was truly terrifying "however I have no interest in taking on many unskilled opponents at a time so.." he fanned out the fingers on both hands sending the high speed wire like 'scratches' across the room cutting trough even the distant steel walls ending many of the ex soldiers lives by piercing right through them and then with a sweeping motion went to level the room, the only way anyone would have survived is if the first scratches had missed them and they had had the sense to duck, he knew only the strongest would have done that

Lynx sensed something coming and hit the floor. when the "scratches" flew by and eliminated most of the soldiers, Lynx and jake were the only ones left standing. (By the way, if someone isn't on for awhile, let's assume thier character does what's needed to survive dosen't do much else. i.e. jake ducks but dosent fight this time.) Lynx immediatly got up and assumed adefensive stance, his dark blade surging with energy as his strength grew.
He was prepared to fight.

((can we have his character go for support or something to get him out of the way till he comes back?))
"only two left? oh well Im sure you will prove more intresting" he said gripping the middle of his still sheathed sword "by the way... lynx was it how old are you?" this seemed like a very VERY strange question to ask at this time

"this is enough nonsense, why do you want to know?"

"are tou stupid? Its so I can write is key stats on the jars when Im done bottleing him up, you two actualy could you tell me your age and any genetic predispositions?" he said honestly wanting to know

*sigh* "ok im 17 and hes 16.
