Radical Dreamers Chapter 1: Before the Showdown

Lynx was standing in the main square of edge, staring at the memorial shinra was making for the people killed on the chosen day. Who do they think they are trying to fool? Certainly not us. He thought to himself. If they think they can ignore us, they have another thing coming.

Jake stood beside him, just staring at the wall

Lynx turned to Jake and said to him "Isn't this pathetic? They think they can use this to redeem themselves for what they did to people like us! Shinra makes me sick." Lynx felt like destroying the memorial, but such an act would exspose him and the faction to the world, which would ruin thier mission.

"shinra makes ALL of us sick" replied Jake obiosly enraged to

"Good. Put that anger to use on th battlefield tonight." Lynx replied.

Tonight, the radical dreamers had a plan to attack a secret underground mako reactor shinra made to hoard what was left in Midgar. the plan was simple: Kill everyone, then blow up the reactor, then slip away.

jake laughed, "cant wait"

Lynx turned and began to walk towards the base. it was an abandoned warehouse on the south side of town. It's where the Radical Dreamers meet up before a mission. It's also where they keep thier weapons. And Lynx was going to get in some practice before tonight's mission.

Jake turned aroud "Im gonna go take a walk

"Suit yourself. You remember when your supposed to be at the base?" Lynx asked Jake.

jake gave him a thumbs up and left

When Lynx made it to the warehouse, Another soldier was there. It spoke to Lynx. "So, the usual Lynx?" "Of course." Lynx replied. a platform appeared in the center of the warehouse. Lynx and the sooldier stepped onto it and it loweresd into a fammiliar circular room. This was called the battlesphere. in here, members could train against eachother. A longsword appeared in each fighters hand, and they charged at eachother, locking in a hold between in thier blades.

jake decided to go watch lynx train, so he walked to the warehouse

The soldier pushed really hard against Lynx's blade, so Lynx sidestepped to the left of the soldier while simultainiously making an uppercut at him.

(Won,t be posting for a few minutes gonna go make lunch.)

jake watched from the stands " he still hasent lost his touch he thought"

The soldier was suprised at the attack and was hit in the arm. by rules of the fight, he lost. Lynx won the match.

the clock struck six " ready to kick some shinra a$$" asked jake

7 more soldiers entered the room. "It's time." one said. a blade shrouded in darkness appeared in Lynx's hand. "Then let's GO!"
